Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County honored Broadstreet Global President Joe Baldassarra as Individual Donor of the Year

GREENVILLE, S.C – April 5, 2023Broadstreet Global President Joe Baldassarra has been recognized as the Individual Donor of the Year for 2022 by Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County. He was honored at Habitat’s Appreciation Breakfast held on April 4.

Baldassarra’s recognition highlights the commitment of his time, talent, and treasure to the success of Habitat’s mission.  He gave generously to Habitat Greenville so that families could be helped, and houses could be built or repaired.

“The choice to honor Joe as the Individual Donor of the Year was easy. From the first time we shared our mission with him, it was clear that Joe understood the importance of making sure homeownership is affordable and accessible for everyone,” said Mark Steenback, chief resource officer of Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County.

Baldassarra is a financial services veteran who has been in the industry for nearly 20 years. He founded Broadstreet Global Fund alongside his brother Steven Baldassarra in 2015 and has grown it to be one of the leading private equity firms in the Carolinas. As president, he focuses on relationship management and strategic growth for Broadstreet Global.

“It has been an incredible experience working alongside people who are committed to making a difference, and seeing families start their lives in new homes,” said Baldassarra. “I’m honored to receive this recognition and look forward to working with Habitat for years to come, helping bring people together to build affordable housing, communities, and hope right here in our neighborhood.”

“Joe is an example of someone who not only benefits from being a part of our amazing community but is committed to making sure others are able to enjoy those same benefits as well. While his financial support is important and generous, he has also shared his time and expertise in helping our organization continue to think of innovative ways to grow our impact in the community. All these things make Joe our Individual Donor of the Year,” added Steenback.
